Full and Part-time Production Workers

Production can include wrapping hampers, braiding lids, working the extruder, running the mill room, and many
other assembly duties. Applicants must have a good attendance record, be motivated, and be able to stand/perform
a repetitive motion for long periods of time.

Full-time works 1st shift, Monday-Thursday, 6:00 am-4:30 pm. Part-time has the freedom to set their own 1st shift hours.


Accounting and HR Assistant

We are seeking a qualified individual to assist both the Accounting and Human Resources department with everyday tasks. Accounting duties include: preparing sales and cash journals, processing domestic and international accounts payable, and serving as a backup for incentive payroll and cash application. HR duties include: maintaining personnel files, reconciling insurance billing, conducting employee training, enrolling employees in insurance and retirement plans, and operating inbound switchboard. Ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience, excellent communication and problem solving skills, and strong attention to detail.


Maintenance Technician

Overview

Responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks. Performance of building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.). Performs general cleaning and other tasks as assigned. This is a full-time hourly position.

Essential Functions

  • Inspects buildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and need repair by making notes and recommendations using a pre-established check sheet
  • Uses  appropriate tools to perform minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures such as wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, and cords
  • Does minor plumbing maintenance such as replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, trenching and laying new lines, and replacing drain hoses on washers and similar devices
  • Performs minor painting, carpentry and masonry work such as preparing surfacing, applying paints and stains, hanging doors, and fitting locks and handles
  • Reconfigures, installs, positions and remounts internal office space to accommodate user needs
  • Performs other work related duties as assigned

Experience & Knowledge Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years of experience in facility maintenance
  • Current or obtainable CDL
  • Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and carpentry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to evaluate objectively, fairly and consistently

National Sales Representative/ Sales Account Manager

Reporting to the SVP of Sales, the successful candidate will develop and implement sales programs with national retailers by working closely together with cross functional areas of the company and by bridging identified customers’ needs and opportunities to the company’s design, production and sourcing capabilities. He/she will establish goals
and objectives that will deliver profitable and sustainable growth for the company.

Major Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

  • Provide ongoing sales support to assigned customer accounts
  • Identify and implement sales to new customer accounts
  • Identify and implement new sales opportunities with assigned customer accounts

Required Competencies/Skills/Knowledge/Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of industry sales experience, witnessed by a credible and demonstrable customer account contact list and proven sales accomplishments

  • Ability to effectively penetrate appropriate levels of management within customers’ organizations

Quality Control Inspector

We are seeking a qualified individual to coordinate and manage all quality assurance duties and responsibilities throughout its domestic and international operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining
and developing Quality Control procedures for all facility related activities in order to ensure that the necessary
quality of products and customer service is provided; develop and execute planning, methods and measurements
to ensure product meets customer requirements and expectations; ensure production processes are capable of consistently meeting these requirements; and that production policies, procedures, and training are adequate to
meet these requirements.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Visually inspect all domestic and international manufactured goods throughout each of the multiple processes
    to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Oversee and coordinate all facility activities related to quality and process control
  • Document all inspection results, logging all deviations appropriately, and continually monitoring all work
    in progress
  • Complete and submit all required records to QC Manager promptly and accurately
  • Maintain conformity to company expectations and requirements
  • Record material loss data for raw materials and damaged finished products, maintain QC area for non-conforming goods, and develop and implement corrective actions for the non-conformities
  • Review customer replacement part claims then gather, inspect, and give replacements to shipping office
  • Inspect all product returns and determine if product can be placed in inventory
  • Identify quality improvement opportunities and maintain a leadership role in continuous improvement efforts
  • Train personnel as needed or requested to ensure knowledge and skills will support Company objectives

Experience and Required Skills:

  • Minimum of two years quality assurance experience in manufacturing (textiles, finished products, and
    hard goods is a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain a quality system
  • Knowledge of and experience with import laws and regulations
  • Must possess technical background to quickly master Company specific manufacturing processes,
    equipment, and requirements
  • Ability to travel on occasion, including international
  • Ability to perceive and judge all colors
  • Sound judgment and reasoning; define problems, gather data, determine facts and develop clear/valid conclusions
  • Basic computer skills; use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Google Drive and Dropbox
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand, stoop, squat, bend, twist, push, pull, grasp, grip and perform repetitive
    motion over a 10 hour work shift
